When the city stands at number 1, how can its railway station lag behind? To improve its Swachh rank, Indore railway station as part of station beautification work has started using 3D painting to adorn its premises.
Station officials said that they have chosen areas such as foot bridges, entrance of the platforms to put up paintings, which will have 3D effect.
They said that famous monuments of the region such as Rajwada, Daly College, artwork related to railways safety, security and heritage are being depicted on areas chosen for 3D artwork.
“The idea behind going for 3D paintwork instead of conventional painting is to give visitors a different feel,” said Neelesh Nagar, one of the artists engaged in beautification work. Read More
