Over 86% Of LED Bulb Distribution Target Achieved

Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) has distributed 25.28 crore LED bulbs and the private sector has also sold 41.44 crore LED bulbs up to domestic consumers throughout the country as at the end of this June, against Government’s target to replace 77 crore incandescent bulbs with LED bulbs by the end of March 2019, Union power minister Piyush Goyal informed parliament on Thursday.
