The Delhi government Monday termed as “illegal” the Delhi Metro’s decision to approach the Centre, for “legal opinion” on the Delhi government’s proposal to nominate AAP functionaries Atishi, Raghav Chadha, Jasmine Shah and Rajya Sabha MP N D Gupta’s son Naveen Gupta to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) board of directors.
In a strongly worded letter to DMRC chief Mangu Singh, Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot said if “this state of affairs continues”, the Delhi government would hold the former “liable”.
