We at EnergyInfraPost.com began this journey a few months ago, with the formal launch of this website by the Union Minister of State For Power, Coal and Renewable Energy, Shri Piyush Goyal on June 7th in New Delhi.
In this crowded Energy and Infrastructure Space, what makes us different from the rest?
We do not believe in sensationalizing or overstating facts. Our site’s coverage is based out of factual information and is presented as a mix of news, views, exclusive interviews of various experts and policy makers. That doesn’t mean that we are not analytical. If facts point towards being critical, we take a stand and call a spade a spade.
With our vast coverage on emerging issues in the energy and infrastructure sector, we have succeeded to make a mark within months of our arrival. Comments on our stories have been pouring in from all fronts directly as also through social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook.
We began our innings with the interview of one of the most magnatic man in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Cabinet, who besides his dynamism, is known for his intellect and is respected by one and all of his party colleagues as also those working in the ministries that he oversees : Union Minister of Power, Coal and Renewable Energy, Piyush Goyal.
In an exclusive interaction with Anupama Airy, Founder and Editor of this website who herself has been asenior journalist and a senior Energy journalist with 23 years of experience covering energy, infrastructure, political economic issues and industry, the Minister shared his detailed views on Energising India and his roadmap for the power, coal and RE sector.
We also take pride in having broken some exclusive stories much before the already established players in the space. One such story was on the Agricultural Revolution For Indian Farmers through the launch of modern SIM-enabled pumps, a move that would help the country save Rs 20,000 crore on agricultural subsidies. This story created enough ripples in the energy space and was followed up by one and all before the formal launch that happened in Andhra Pradesh on April 7th.
Along with an exhaustive coverage on the power, coal and RE sector, we also have done a lot of policy and industry stories in the oil and gas sector being spearheaded by another well-known minister, Dharmendra Pradhan.
We are confident of this journey and strive to be the best. So while this website is just few months old, we promise to keep our readers abreast with the latest happenings in the space as also focus on disseminating factual and unbiased information emanating from the corridors of policy and industry.
Please keep posting comments and feedback to our stories.
