In order to provide additional travelling capacity for passengers, the South Central Railway (SCR) plans on temporarily augmenting the Nanded-Mumbai-Nanded Tapovan Express as well as some other trains with additional coaches, an official release said on Tuesday.
Accordingly, the Nanded — Mumbai Tapovan Express, bearing the number 17618, will be augmented with one additional AC chair car coach from January 1 to February 28 next year. In the opposite direction, the train (17617) will also have an additional AC chair car coach from January 2 to March 1.
The Dharmabad — Manmad Express (17688) and its reverse train (17687) will be augmented with one second seating coach for the entire month of January. Read More
