After inspecting the Chandigarh Railway Station for six hours on Wednesday, Ambala divisional railway manager (DRM) Dinesh Sharma on Wednesday questioned the authorities concerned for not monitoring and maintaining the facilities on a daily basis.
Showing his concerns over the maintenance of the parking lot, less number of point of sale (PoS) machines at the ticket counters, improper signboards to reach automatic ticket vending machines and functioning of escalators installed, the official instructed the authority concerned to get more machines at the counters for the convenience of the passengers.
