Unable to cope with huge rush of passengers during festival period, railways has decided to run one more biweekly special trainbetween Patna Junction and Anand Vihar Delhi from September 23 to October 30. Railways is already running 17 pairs of puja special trains from different stations under East Central Railway (ECR).
According to ECR CPRO Rajesh Kumar, the special train (04003/04004) will leave Anand Vihar every Tuesday and Saturday at 6.35pm and reach Patna Junction at 10.55am next day. On its return journey, the train will leave Patna Junction every Wednesday and Sunday at 1.05pm and reach Anand Vihar at 5.10am next day. It has been given stoppages at Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Mughalsarai, Allahabad and Kanpur and will run with the load combination of 20 coaches, which included five of 3AC, nine sleeper class, four general and two brake vans, he said.
