Motibagh Workshop is working on the design of bio-toilets to get rid of the stench and also pare its weight to help transform Indian Railways into a Green Railways. The bio-toilet unit is one of its kind over Indian Railway established in 2011 to stop discharging of night soil onto the tracks. Informing about the developments, Chief Workshop Manager, Motibagh Workshop, P S Khairkar, said that they have modified the design of bio-toilet and tests are on the new lighter version of the unit.
