The compensation package for the farmers whose land will be acquired for the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Bullet train project will be “much more” than what is mandated by the Land Acquisition Act, a senior official said here today.
A joint measurement survey is being conducted at present, which is the last stage of land acquisition process, said Achal Khare, managing director of National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), the implementing agency.
After the survey is over, farmers will learn about the compensation package, he said. Read More
