In a bid to showcase 67 of India’s discovered oil and gas fields before the global investors community at Singapore and London, Union Minister of State (I/C) for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Dharmendra Pradhan will be part of the roadshows to be held in these two countries from 9-14 September, 2016. Under this bid round, 67 Discovered Small Fields (DSF) are being offered for international bidding. These fields are spread over 9 sedimentary basins and will be offered in 46 contract areas. These fields are projected to yield 625 million barrels of oil and oil equivalent gas and spread over 1,500 sq kms in onland, shallow water and deep water

“TARANG” tracks the real time progress of transmission projects and associated works being carried out in transmission systems across the country.

Justice AP Shah panel confirms migration of 11.125 billion cubic meters of gas from ONGC’s blocks to RIL’s block in the Krsihna Godavari basin. Upholding the findings made by the international consultant D&M in its report, the Justice AP Shah Committee in its report has ratified the connectivity between the reservoirs in RIL’s KG-DWN-98/3 and that of ONGC’s– KG-DWN-98/2 and Godavari PML blocks. In simpler terms, this report further proves that ONGC’s gas migrated from its two blocks in the KG basin (Godavari PML and KG-DWN-98/2) to the adjacent RIL’s block, KG-D6.

The distribution of 2 crore LED bulbs has led to an annual energy savings of 259 crore kWh which is equivalent to lighting up 5 lakh Indian homes for an entire year. Alongside the savings in units, the state has also benefitted from daily CO2 emission reduction of 5,000 tonnes.The programme has also helped the state to avoid 520MW of peak demand.
