Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL), India’s leading power distribution company and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly work towards designing innovative energy efficiency solutions for the Indian industrial sector.
The Congress recently alleged that the BJP government in Gujarat had let four private companies -Adani, ESSAR, Tata and China Light Power – to “squander” Rs 26,000 crore of the public exchequer. The Opposition claimed that the ruling party had purchased electricity from these four companies at “unimaginably high rates” in a “huge power purchase scam”.

GAIL India Ltd, the country’s biggest gas transporter, has deployed drones on pilot basis on its main trunk pipeline as it uses technology to secure its vast network, its director (pipelines) Ashutosh Karnatak said.
