Central Railway has formed a fully departmental ‘Mobile Gang’ to take care of Stations and Track cleanliness. A first of its kind over Central Railway, this Mobile gang comprising 28 Safai Staff with one supervisor visits different stations taking care of the Station and Track cleanliness. Till now they have visited and cleaned 20 stations and tracks and more stations are on the anvil for cleanliness.
Sunil Udasi, Chief PRO said “This is the part of an extensive cleanliness drive launched over the Mumbai Division from 12.06.2018. During this drive, 25 stations with huge footfalls have been provided special imprest for cleaning the entire area with a view to improve the aesthetics of these stations.
This round the clock cleanliness drive also includes smaller stations. The monitoring and counseling for the cleanliness drive at the highest level is being undertaken for the overall improvement”. Read More
