Shri. Ashwani Lohani, Chairman, Railway Board, New Delhi visited Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala on 05.05.2018. It was his first visit to RCF as CRB and was given a warm reception on his arrival.
Ashwani Lohani had detailed discussions with Satya Prakash Trivedi, General Manager/RCF on issues related with RCF. A presentation was made before him on RCF, briefing on infrastructure of RCF, facilities provided and latest developments in hand viz. production of new genre coaches.
Lohani later visited RCF workshop where he was apprised of coach manufacturing processes. He inspected Shell division, where the Senior Supervisors explained him the fabrication process in making of Shells. Lohani during inspection of various stageworks, occasionally stopped by the working employees and asked about their vision for taking RCF to new heights.
Later, the Chairman visited Paint Shop where he had a long purposeful discussion with workers and Supervisors on efficacy of personal protection equipments used by them.
Lohani inspected coaches in Furnishing Shop and had a comprehensive discussion on Tejas coaches with RCF Team. He was pleased to see the women employees of RCF working with full zeal and had a lively interaction with them.
Lohani’s interface with workers working on machines and coaches was well received by employees with enthusiasm. Impressed upon working of staff, he presented cash award to three employees on the spot. Read More
