Sumant Choudhary, Secretary of Government of India’s Coal Ministry, on Thursday chaired a review meeting for coal blocks allotted to public sector companies of state and progress of SECL’s coal block.
In the ninth meeting of monitoring committee organized here, information regarding the status of pending proceedings related to coal blocks was taken from officials concerned.
In the meeting, Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary Sunil Kumar Kujur was present in the meeting. It was decided in the meeting that Collectors, Revenue Department, Environment and Forest Department Officials of the respective districts of the coal blocks will have joint meeting once in a month to review progress in redressal of pending cases.
