Delhi metro Grey Line to connect villages of Najafgarh with Dwarka

Soon Delhiites will get another metro corridor to commute and ease their travelling. The new metro corridor will connect Dwarka Metro station on the Blue Line with Dhansa Bus Stand in Najafgarh and will come as a relief to thousands of commuters who currently have to travel at least 10km to reach the nearest Metro line. This new metro corridor entering the urban villages of Najafgarh will be known as ‘Grey Line’

As reported by Hindustan Times, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) had completed trial runs on the 4.29 km long Dwarka-Najafgarh stretch in July this year. The Grey Line will have four stations — Dwarka, Nangli, Najafgarh and Dhansa Bus Stop and according to metro officials work on the line is likely to be completed by September, and the section will be thrown open for public by the end of the year.
