In a bid to maintain law and order during New Year’s Eve, the exit facility at Rajiv Chowk on the Yellow line of the Delhi Metro will not be available for the travellers from 9 pm on Monday.
The DMRC issued a statement that the Delhi Police instructed the DMRC officials to disallow the commuters to exit from Rajiv Chowk metro station from 9 pm onwards today, to maintain peace, and law and order during New Year Eve’s.
Only exit facility has been restricted, while the passengers will be allowed to enter Rajiv Chowk Metro Station for commutation. Rajiv Chowk metro station is located at Delhi’s Connaught Place, which is a hub for several restaurants, hotels, and clubs where people gather in huge numbers to ring in the new year.
Rajiv Chowk metro station is one of the most crowded stations on the Delhi Metro wherein interchange facility is also available at the station for both Blue and Yellow Lines. Read More
