Southern Railway’s salem division today warned the public and job aspirants not to fall prey to claims of some unauthorised institutions running ‘safety training courses’, for assured railway employment.
A release from the division said it had come to their notice that these institutions were enrolling students and reportedly collecting hefty sums from on the false assurance of providing them railway jobs.
It clarified that Railways does not run any such college or safety training course and that recruitment is only through authorised recruitment bodies such as the Railway Recruitment Board and Railway Recruitment Cell.
“Southern Railway is not a part of any other institution of any nature and will not be liable for any claims arising out of such courses,” it said. Read More
