The government has granted 18 Petroleum Mining Leases to winning bidders under DSF Round I and is in advanced stages of granting the rest, upstream regulator Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH) said in a notice today.
The notice added that the oil ministry has nominated Director General of DGH, Atanu Chakraborty as chairman and Joint Secretary Exploration, Amar Nath as government representatives for the Management Committee to be formed under the provisions of the Revenue Sharing Contract.
