Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) has floated its second tender for procuring five million smart meters to be installed on a pan-India basis, reports Nishtha Saluja.
“As of now, we have demand from Bihar, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu for smart meters,” Saurabh Kumar, managing director at EESL, told ET. “We have aggregated demand for about one crore smart meters from across the country.”
The new smart meters tender is based on international competitive bidding process like the company’s previous tenders. Read More…
