Essel Infraprojects Ltd, an Essel Group firm, has bagged three waste-to-energy projects in Andhra Pradesh.
The projects will come up at Kadapa, Anantpur and T P Gudem. In order to implement the projects, Essel Infraprojects has awarded the contract to Hitachi Zosen India Pvt Ltd, the Indian arm of Japan’s Hitachi Zosen.
Each of the three plants comprises one R-Grate type waste combustor and flue gas treatment systems with a processing capacity of 330-tonne-per-day and a power output of approximately 6,000 kilowatt.
