Almost flat demand and rising solar panel costs amid no subsidy on commercial use is preventing the growth of solar products in the market, solar product-based industries said.
Manufacturers and suppliers of solar products demanded that subsidy on commercial use of solar products can help lift the demand.
“In India, solar products are in growing stage and scope is huge. At present, there’s no subsidy on commercial use of solar products but if government provides subsidy it will lead the market vertically”, said R C Soni, director, sales and marketing at a solar products manufacturing firm.
Soni has exhibited solar energy run refrigerator for commercial use at International Industry and Technology and Future Energy Expo that saw over 100 exhibitors from across the country. Read More
