Foundation Stone of 400/220/132kV POWERGRID Chandauti Sub-station was laid down by Union Minister of State (I/c) for Power, New and Renewable Energy, Raj Kumar Singh in presence of Energy, Prohibition, Excise & Registration Minister, Bijendra Prasad Yadav, MP of Gaya, Hari Manjhi & MLA, Sherghati, Vinod P. Yadav.
This ₹240 Crore Sub-station will improve Bihar’s power position and through the 765 kV, Gaya Sub-station of POWERGRID shall strengthen the state grid connectivity with the national grid.
It will supply power from Nabinagar power station and supply to districts of Gaya, Rohtas and Aurangabad.
