As part of its major expansion plans, Gail Gas Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gail (India) limited will set up 41 CNG stations and will supply gas to 2,20,000 households with Piped Natural Gas (PNG) over a period of eight years. The initiative is being taken under its City Gas Distribution (CDG) projects in Saraikela-Kharsawan.
V Gautam, general manager, marketing, Gail Gas Limited, said, the authorisation was granted to GAIL Gas Limited for Saraikela- Kharsawan district and West Singbhum district during 10th round of bidding by Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB).
The CGD Projects of Saraikela- Kharsawan District and West Singbhum district will supply Compressed Natural Gas for transport Sector and Piped Natural Gas for households, Industries & commercial units. Read More
