Gamesa has won orders to supply turbines for seven wind farms in India with a total capacity of 278MW.
The company will install 99 of its G114-2MW and 40 of its G97-2MW machines for several unnamed customers.
The facilities are scheduled to be commissioned between March and October, it said.
Gamesa will also act as engineering, procurement and construction contractor for three of the wind projects.
The manufacturer has recently opened a third factory in India to reinforce its presence in the region, which accounts for almost 30% of its total sales. Read More…
