Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal has urged the Union Minister for Railways Piyush Goyal to replicate the innovative elevated railway track of Rohtak on Narwana-Kurukshetra railway line in Kaithal.
While stating this here on Tuesday, a spokesman of the PWD Department said that the construction of elevated rail track in Rohtak, the first of its kind in the country has led to many requests for its replication elsewhere in the state.
Therefore, in a letter addressed to the Union Railways Minister, Mr Khattar said that railway tracks should be elevated at three important roads Kaithal-Karnal State Highway No-8, Cirucular road Kaithal around Kaithal town and Thanesar-Dhand-Kaithal road cross the Narwana-Kurukshetra Railway line in Kaithal town, instead of construction of three Road Overbridges (ROBs).
