In a Christmas gift to Mumbaikars, the country’s first AC suburban train had commenced its services on December 25, 2017.
The train, operated by the Western Railway (WR), began its journey at 10.32 am from Borivili station to Churchgate in South Mumbai on the Christmas day.
And on Wednesday, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal tweeted a post asking people ‘take a virtual tour’ of the train.
He wrote, “What makes India’s first air-conditioned local train, cooler? From state-of-the-art technology to passenger comfort – ‘just chill’ is winning hearts of Mumbaikars.” Read More…
