The National Institute of Technology, Patna, on Monday started a six-day seminar on discussing quantum physics and how to have maximum use of it in technology.
Quantum physics is a fundamental theory which describes nature at the smallest scales of energy levels of atoms and sub-atomic particles.
Partha Ghose, an Indian physicist and former professor at SN Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences in Calcutta, said: “During the seminar, experts will discuss quantum ideas and its application in technology. With use of quantum ideas, we can generate computers which can work much faster and with the best features.”
