Hindustan Power’s clean energy arm has commissioned a 50 Megwatt solar power plant in Punjab for an investment of Rs 325 crore, the company today said in a release.
With the commissioning of this plant, Hindustan Power’s cumulative solar capacity in Punjab now stands at 80 MW.
The project was awarded to the company by Punjab Energy Development Agency on bidding route and the power purchase agreement has been signed with Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL), Hindustan Power said. Read more
