After inaugurating the 30-km-long Nagole-Miyapur stretch of Hyderabad Metro Rail, the Telangana government has set a target to complete the much awaited stretch up to Hitec City by June 2018.
Municipal Administration Minister K.T. Rama Rao instructed Metro officials to complete the 8.5-km-long Ameerpet-Hitec City stretch by June next year. The Minister also ordered the officials to immediately commence work of the Metro’s 1.5 km extension up to Raidurg.
Out of the 27-km-long Nagole-Raidurg stretch of corridor III, the 17-km-long Nagole-Ameerpet stretch was made operational in the first phase.
The 1.5 km extension from Hate city station to Raidurg station involves erection of 49 pillars, 1.5 km of viaduct and Raidurg Metro terminal station. Read More…
