In a significant milestone for the country, the Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC), a unit of department of Atomic Energy, Government of India has produced one million Pressurised heavy Water Reactor (PHWR) fuel bundles for the operating nuclear power reactors in India.
To mark the achievement, a function was organized at NFC in the city to hand over the one millionth PHWR fuel bundle to S K Sharma, chairman & managing director, Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), Mumbai on Monday.
