A report claimed that “India will soon see a underwater train which will link Mumbai and Dubai,” and will facilitate “the exchange of goods from India to UAE and export of oil through a pipeline as well”.
Website Postcard, in its report, said:
“The UAE is looking to developing underwater rail network between Fujairah, UAE and Mumbai, India. In near future, resident of both nations might travel via undersea rail link. The report also stated that apart from the rail network for passenger transit, there are plans facilitating the exchange of goods from India to UAE and export of oil through a pipeline as well.”
