India is pushing for energy justice on a global platform, similar to the efforts that have been made within the country, said Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Dharmendra Pradhan.
Speaking at the first ministerial at Petrotech 2019, Pradhan highlighted how there is a big shift of energy consumption from Europe to Asia.
“Our philosophy of sustainable development goals has given us and the world community a target to attain. India is committed to fulfilling this global goal in an Indianised version. Energy justice is our strategy,” he said.
Pradhan highlighted how the government has been providing cooking gas and electricity connections nationwide in an attempt to democratise the reach of hydrocarbons. Read More
