On Tuesday, October 22, the Indian Railways flagged off 10 Sewa Service trains to links small towns to their nearest big cities in order to make it easy for travelling easy for the passengers.
The flagging off was done by Piyush Goyal, Minister of Railways between Delhi and Shamli at New Delhi in the presence of health minister Harsh Vardhan as well as oil minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
The newly-launched Sewa Service trains from Delhi to Shamli, Murkongselex and Dibrugarh, Kota and Jhalawar City, Bhubaneswar and Nayagarh town as well as Coimbatore and Palani will run on a daily basis. Other trains will also be launched by Goyal via video-conferencing.
Reportedly, trains between Vadnagar and Mahesana, Karur and Salem, Asarva and Himmatnagar, Yesvantpur and Tumkur as well as Coimbatore and Pallachi will run six days every week. Read More
