The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has enabled various methods for the payment of the ticket booking amount on the IRCTC e-ticketing website, www.irctc.co.in.
IRCTC e-wallet is one of the payment options among other payment channels such as debit cards, credit cards, net banking, mobile wallets, IRCTC-SBI co-branded cards, etc, which can be used for paying the train ticket booking amount on the IRCTC website.
According to IRCTC, the IRCTC e-wallet can be topped up in advance before proceeding for the ticket booking process and can be used seamlessly as a payment option for paying the ticket booking transaction amount.
A user can register for the IRCTC e-wallet by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 50 (excluding service tax) and a transaction charge of Rs 10 (excluding service tax). Read More
