Now, the Indian Railways passengers will experience a different taste, as the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will serve an updated food menu from today (July 15). This comes in wake of a new Indian Railways initiative that enables passengers to track how their meals are being prepared in the central kitchen through CCTV cameras live.
IRCTC had earlier launched ‘Menu On Rails’ app where passengers can see the price of meals served in trains and also allowed them to order food from outside. For the last one year, the Indian Railways has been bringing in a lot of changes in food served on trains. Read More
