Indian Railways’ first private train Lucknow-Delhi Tejas Express will start from October 5. It will be the first train of Indian Railways that will be entirely run by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). The Lucknow-Delhi Tejas Express will run six days a week, except Tuesdays.
The much-awaited New Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express will be flagged off by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on October 4. The regular service of New Delhi-Tejas Express will commence from October 5. IRCTC Tejas Express will start running in Lucknow and New Delhi route from October 6. The Lucknow-Delhi Tejas Express will cover distance between Delhi and Lucknow in six hours and fifteen minutes.
IRCTC has started taking bookings for Lucknow-Delhi Tejas Express from last Saturday. More than 2,000 passengers have booked their tickets so far, PTI reported. Read More
