Engineers India Ltd (EIL), the engineering consultancy firm under the aegis of the oil ministry, today announced J C Nakra has assumed the charge as the new Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the company.
“Prior to assuming charge of CMD, he was holding the position of Director (Projects) in EIL,” the company said in a statement today. In his career of 36 years, Nakra has worked in the projects, construction and marketing domains.
He had joined EIL in 1983 in the offshore Construction division and later served in Marketing and Projects divisions.
Nakra is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh and also holds a post-graduate diploma in Management studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. Read More
