Japanese firms will showcase their cutting-edge railway technologies and products during an international exhibition in India to cash in on the nation’s first high-speed train project backed by Japanese financial assistance.
A high-powered delegation of more than 50 representatives of the Japanese government and industries is expected to attend the International Railway Equipment Exhibition in New Delhi from Wednesday through Friday, the Confederation of Indian Industry says.
“With around 30 Japanese firms participating and the ‘Japan Pavilion’ hall of around 3,000 square meters, it will be the largest ever Japanese showcase at the event in terms of firms’ participation and the size of the national pavilion,” CII Director Roy Jacob told NNA. Read More…
