Jodhpur DISCOM staffs asked to keep a check on power thefts
Striving hard to bring down the power losses, DISCOMs have been constantly monitoring the situation and issuing directions to its officials for keeping a tight vigil on power thefts by strengthening vigilence.
In a recently held meeting for the same purpose at Jodhpur DISCOM, CMD Arti Dogra has directed officials to file FIRs against illegal transformers in villages. Officials who aiding the installation of illegal transformers in villages will have to face stringent action, warned the CMD.
Emphasising on the need of strict and consistent monitoring, Dogra told officials to identify the illegal transformers, make a list and lodge an immediate FIR against them. Recently, a number of cases had surfaced where transformers were found to be installed without any permission from the DISCOM and almost all in connivance with the departmental employees. Read More…
