Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL), the country’s largest power equipment manufacturer, today announced Kamalesh Das has assumed charge as Director-Engineering, R&D of the company post his appointment as director on the board of the public sector manufacturing enterprise.
He has over 36 years of experience in the energy, transmission and industrial systems space.
Prior to this, Das, 57, was heading various business verticals as executive director at BHEL’s industry sector, which is responsible for carrying out diversification and growth initiatives.
