As the 330 megawatt Kishen Ganga Power Project is nearing completion, around 600 families whose land has been acquired for the project in Gurez and Bandipora are yet to be compensated.
As per the official documents available with Greater Kashmir, around 450 families of Badwan and Wanpora in Gurez, who have been partially affected by the project, are yet to be given compensation, although already approved by the state cabinet. Read More…
