I had the opportunity last month to participate in Petrotech, the biennial international conference of India’s oil and gas industry.
It was heartening to see the spectacular growth in energy access for vast number of people, for example, via the LPG connections that are being provided on a mass scale; and the expansion of the natural gas supply and distribution network that is taking place.
These are transformational changes, which will help drive economicgrowth, spread it more evenly across the country and improve the quality of lives. The international energy industry rightly regards India as one of the key markets to underpin its future growth. Read More
