A new India-made Bullet train corridor is going to be set up soon in the country. This is separate from the one that is currently being built by the National High Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRC) to run between Maharashtra and Gujarat (Mumbai to Ahmedabad).
This already underway project will have trains imported from Japan in the first phase. However, India is looking to make separate corridors in other parts of the country and for this preparation is already going on in full swing.
