Infrastructure and irrigation services in Rajasthan are set to take a new leap on December 15 when BJP government will be celebrating programs on its 4th anniversary. Union minister for Road Transport, Highways and Water Resources Nitin Gadkari is expected to laying foundation of road works in the tune of Rs729 crore in Baran and ambitious Parwan water irrigation project cost at Rs 6489 crore in Baran of Kota division wherein chief ministers Vasundhara Raje represents from Jhalrapatan.
“The state has taken another step towards the development of roads. The Kota division will get road projects worth Rs729.23 crores this month. In a program scheduled at Baran Agricultural Production Market on December 15, the road works covering 294km will be laid. As chief guest of the function, Nitin Gadkari may arrive there,” says a statement released by the office of chief minister.
The ceremony will see foundation stone laying for strengthening of 20km long road at a cost of Rs30 crore at National Highway-12. Under PPP model, 74.82km road between Kanvas-Khanpur-Aklera at the cost of Rs175 crore, 14.85km road from Deoli to Kanwas at the cost of Rs34.78 crore and Alot-Gangdhar-Suwasra road stretching 24.55km at the cost of Rs58.11 crore.
