To deal with green waste coming from RWAs, parks and sabzi mandis, the North Municipal Corporation of Delhi (NMCD) is going to set up four ‘bio-methanation plants’ and six ‘aerobic drum compost plants’ in its jurisdiction soon.
The methanation plants would be five tonnes per day (TPD) capacity and compost plants of one tonne per day (TPD) load. The total cost in procuring and operation and maintenance of the same for five years would be Rs 17.95 crore at least. Read More
