Kanti Bijlee Utpadan Nigam Limited (KBUNL), a wholly owned subsidiary of state-run power generator NTPC Limited, has invited bids for setting up of an estimated 500 KW rooftop solar PV capacity on various buildings of its plant area for Muzaffarpur Thermal Power Project in Bihar.
The selected developers would be responsible for complete design, engineering, manufacture, inspection, supply, transportation, storage, insurance, associated civil work, erection, testing and commissioning of the solar PV capacity. They will also have to provide operation and maintenance support for the next five years from the date of trial run of all rooftop SPV projects.
The solar PV system shall use crystalline modules conforming to the latest edition of IEC 61215/IS 14286. The capacity of each of the solar modules design should not be less than 240Wp. Read More
