Shares of NTPC gained 1.2 percent intraday Wednesday after company won 85 MW solar capacities in Uttar Pradesh (UP).
The company had participated in the 550 MW tender floated by Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) for grid-connected solar projects.
In the reverse auction held on 03.12.2018, company has participated for 85 MW solar capacities and has won the entire capacity bid by it, at a levelised tariff of Rs 3.02/unit, applicable for 25 years.
The solar projects shall be set up by NTPC and shall add to the installed capacity of NTPC. At 09:50 hrs NTPC was quoting at Rs 144.20, up Rs 1.15, or 0.80 percent. Read More
