The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Ltd. has pledged Rs. 50 lakh for beautification and up-keep of Kokrajhar railway stations under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to this effect was signed by the Senior. Divisional Commercial Manager of Alipurduar Division of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), Subimal Sen and the Additional General Manager of NTPC’s Bongaigaon plant, Sujit Varkey.
This is the first instance of a station receiving CSR funding for maintaining cleanliness in the NFR, the CPRO of the NFR P J Sharma informed. Read More…
