The National Thermal Power Corporation underpasswill open to vehicular traffic in a month’s time, Noida Authority CEO Alok Tandon said on Friday.
Work on the underpass, located at the crossing of Sectors 25A, 24, 33A and 22, had begun in July 2015 and was supposed to have completed in December 2016. But the work was delayed because it took time to shift utility services such water and sewer pipes and electricity lines.
The 640-metre underpass is being built at Rs 55 crore and will play a crucial role in movement of traffic in one of the busiest city stretches.
