The city is all set to get 600 more fuel stations in addition to 600 outlets already operating. The state of Telanganawill get 3,000 more bunks, adding to its kitty of 5,000 petrol pumps.
With the petroleum ministry issuing a notification granting permission to open 60,000 petrol pumps in the country, Telangana in general and Hyderabad in particular will gain immensely.
“A major expansion of petrol bunks is being taken up in the country. Currently, India has 60,000 petrol bunks,” MP Reddy, chairman, National Petrol Dealers’ Association, told TOI. Read More
